I grew up wanting to be a lawyer, drawn to problem-solving and making an impact. But a high school class on subliminal advertising shifted my aspirations and revealed branding’s persuasive power. From there, I swapped law books for design tools, beginning a path that married creativity and strategy.
My creative journey took off in the music industry. At PolyEast Records, I designed album covers and collaborated with musicians, earning a 2014 Awit Awards nomination for Best Album Packaging. This experience taught me that creativity must serve a purpose—pushing me to weave strategy into design.
Transitioning into people-facing roles, I sharpened my skills as a senior brand and account manager. At San Miguel, I navigated high-pressure negotiations with creative solutions. Later, at Widescope, I turned at-risk accounts into loyal clients, demonstrating that a client-first approach and problem-solving mindset drive results.
As the founder of UpBrand, I wore many hats: brand strategist, account manager, designer, and more. This experience deepened my ability to lead and collaborate with diverse teams. Now, with shifting priorities, I’m exploring senior brand and account manager roles, still driven by the goals of building brands, nurturing teams, and making an impact.

I’m a quirky, clumsy, nerdy INTJ with a soft spot for dogs. My pup even helped pay for my high school tuition, and losing her was one of the hardest moments of my life. That’s why I now just admire dogs from a distance.
While I can’t drive or ride a bike, I’m surprisingly good at balancing on inline skates. I’m hopeless in the kitchen, but I’ve mastered the art of ordering in. Slang often confuses me—like the time I thought “gora” meant “the party’s over” when it meant “let’s go!”
I giggle a lot, but it’s hard to get a real laugh out of me. The only ones that managed to do the trick were sitcoms like The Big Bang Theory and Brooklyn 99, and comedians John Mulaney and Trevor Noah.
My biggest fear about any new job is the forced Christmas party presentations (‘initiations”) for new hires.
Having thrived in different worlds—balancing a prestigious school environment with a humble upbringing—I’ve faced challenges head-on, from climbing the ladder to top management, to founding UpBrand.
Now, I’m once again ready to embrace new challenges and navigate unfamiliar territories, bringing my expertise in brand strategy and account management—hopefully within your team, especially if you don’t have those Christmas presentations!
